∎ We’re looking for a committed & performance driven candidate who will look after the following issues- worker safety, industrial hygiene, air quality, environmental hazards, fire safety for chemical and hazardous waste disposal. In addition, this person is to oversee the risk management process for the factory, including the identifying, monitoring and management of potential risks.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement procedures as required by factory safety policies after soliciting input from managers and other employees.
∎ Look after compliance issues in the factory and ensure Labor Law-2006 is followed in factory activities.
∎ Alert employees about policy or procedure changes and monitor compliance.
∎ Monitor workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with factory policies and procedures and meet government safety regulations.
∎ Ensure health, safety & environment documents are reviewed and updated as required.
∎ Plan and conduct on-site biological and chemical safety and hazardous waste disposal training to educate faculty and staff.
∎ Perform building safety audits and correction documentations.
∎ Ensure fire safety in the factory by regularly checking firefighting equipment in the factory.
∎ Regularly conduct training for fire marshals and first aiders in the factory.
∎ Assist with inspection of emergency evacuation route signage, as needed.
∎ Identifying potential risks and making recommendations to management & drafting strategies to avoid or mitigate the risks.
∎ Any other relevant responsibilities assigned by the management.
