∎ Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or Bachelor's degree a related field.
∎ A proven track record with 15-20 years of experience in sample development and technical garment production, specifically in woven garments.
∎ Deep technical expertise in fabric selection, pattern making , and garment construction. - Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
∎ Resilient under pressure with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
∎ Proficiency in Lectra CAD software & Lectra pattern software and other industry-standard design tools.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sample Development Leadership:
∎ - Oversee the complete sample development lifecycle, from initial design concept to final approval.
∎ - Collaborate closely with design and merchandising teams to ensure alignment with customer specifications and market trends.
∎ - Lead the sampling team, ensuring on-time delivery (Lead Time) of top-quality samples that set industry standards.
∎ Technical Mastery:
∎ - Provide expert guidance on fabric selection, pattern making, and garment construction.
∎ - Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the sample development process.
∎ - Ensure all samples meet or exceed stringent quality standards and customer expectations.
∎ Seamless Production Integration:
∎ - Act as the key liaison between sample development and production teams to ensure a smooth transition to bulk production.
∎ - Assist in the establishment of production lines, ensuring all technical requirements are meticulously met.
∎ - Monitor bulk production to guarantee the final product matches the approved sample in every detail.
∎ Team Development and Management:
∎ - Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of sample coordinators, merchandisers, pattern makers team , sample cutting team, sewing team, and finishing team & staffs.
∎ -Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement targeted training programs to elevate team capabilities.
∎ -Cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture within the sampling department.
∎ Client Engagement:
∎ - Engage directly with clients to fully understand their technical requirements and provide consistent updates on sample progress.
∎ - Address and resolve client concerns with a focus on maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
∎ Continuous Improvement:
∎ - Continuously evaluate and enhance sampling processes to drive efficiency and reduce lead times without compromising quality.
∎ - Stay at the forefront of industry trends, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions into the sampling process.
