Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overseeing all operational aspects of the fabric department in order to achieve maximum sales performance and profit and achieve optimum levels of customer service.
∎ Provides expertise to product development and production teams on fabric construction and content, fabric finishing technical capabilities to deliver raw material innovation.
∎ Working to improve the cost of fabrics by selecting better materials and developing vendors.
∎ Sourcing, research and develop fabric and trims originating from global markets and communicate findings to factory.
∎ Ensure that fabric, color and garment components are being regularly assessed against the required quality standards.
∎ Understanding changes in fabric legislation and regulations and implementing them as required.
∎ Controlling activities for dyeing, shade matching production follow up and quality controls of the fabrics.

∎ Job Description/Responsibility:
∎ Overseeing all operational aspects of the fabric department in order to achieve maximum sales performance and profit and achieve optimum levels of customer service.
∎ Provides expertise to product development and production teams on fabric construction and content, fabric finishing technical capabilities to deliver raw material innovation.

∎ Academic Qualification: Bachelor of Technology (Textile Chemistry). Diploma in Textile Processing will be added as advantage.
∎ Experience: Candidate should have 10 years’ experience in the garments sector.
∎ Salary: Basic salary-USD 1800, House rent-USD 300, Medical-USD 50 & Conveyance-USD 50 or equivalent BDT per month.
