Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement sales strategies for modern trade channels aligned with company goals.
∎ Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and modern trade partners.
∎ Negotiate terms of trade, promotions, and visibility agreements.
∎ Lead and manage the modern trade sales team. Set performance targets, monitor results, and provide guidance for skill and performance improvement.
∎ Coordinate with marketing and trade marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and ensure excellent in-store execution and merchandising.
∎ Monitor competitor activities, analyze market trends, and recommend actions to maintain a competitive edge.
∎ Ensure timely delivery, order fulfillment, and stock management in coordination with supply chain and logistics teams.
∎ Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management on channel-wise performance, gaps, and action plans.
