Responsibilities & Context:
Direct, plan, and coordinate manufacturing processes to meet production goals, schedules, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain production budgets, manage costs, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Enforce health and safety regulations, ensure compliance with legal/statutory standards (ISO, GMP), and maintain high quality control.
Manage raw materials, inventory, equipment maintenance, and workflow to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance, assigning roles across production teams to maximize productivity.
Develop operational strategies, communicate performance metrics (KPIs) to senior leadership, and implement process improvements.
Liaise with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to align production with company needs.
Sets short- and long-term production strategies, balancing production lines for maximum capacity.
Identifies cost-saving opportunities and manages the production budget.
Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
