Job Context:
∎ Independent Export Bd Ltd (IEL) is a fast-growing Ready Made Garments (RMG) Accessories manufacturing company catering to the export-oriented RMG industries. Backed by a large conglomerate and managed by seasoned leaders, IEL is set to redefine the industry it’s operating in.
∎ We are looking for an “AGM, Operations” to lead the overall production and admin-related operations in the business. This is a high-paced and high-impact role with significant growth potential.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that daily production levels are at their optimum through intelligent planning, meticulous execution, and leadership.
∎ Ensure that the raw materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity in a manner that optimizes output and profit for the company.
∎ Gather and provide market intel to the Board about new opportunities.
∎ Constantly work towards cost minimization, waste reduction, and profit maximization.
∎ Act as the bridge between all relevant departments to foster cross-collaboration.
∎ Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale.
∎ Manage all delivery fleets and their cost-effective use, route planning, and timely departure and arrival.
∎ Ensure that both the HQ and Factory have the appropriate staffing level.
∎ Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
∎ Responsible for making and renewal of all licenses, certificates, and agreements required for factory operations and their proper documentation.
∎ Monitor attendance, compliance, security, and factory administration. Ensure safe, clean, and comfortable office and factory premises.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 10+ years of proven work experience in relevant discipline.
∎ Master’s degree in any relevant discipline from a reputed university.
∎ Experience in RMG manufacturing or FMCG is preferred. Direct experience in the RMG Accessories business would be an asset.
∎ Strong work ethic with a go-getter attitude.
∎ Ability to lead, influence, and inspire.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Sound knowledge of LC/ back-to-back LC.
∎ Advanced computer skills in MS Office.
