∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skill.
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Good interpersonal & communication skills.
∎ Must be familiar with modern garments factory practices.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain proper KPI target/ Ratio and Work with internal departments to ensure quality, production and timely delivery of goods.
∎ Providing SMV with suggested % of efficiency including PPH to Merchandising Dept.
∎ Provide Better SMV / PPH by re-evaluating the confirmed styles. Monitoring Line performance & improving the performances of low efficiency lines.
∎ Finalize the operation bulletins, line targets, line balancing build up, for the new styles.
∎ Prepare production incentive report and Analyzing the MOM improvement.
∎ Lead the Centralized GSD Costing Team.
∎ Provide all costing and production SMV for all factories.
∎ Review Style development, Style Briefing & Risk Analysis, Style process integration and simplification, Continuous follow up Quick Change Over – QCO.
∎ Identify process GAPs, review root causes, redesign the process and SOP.
∎ Handling overall operational responsibility in the Unit.
∎ Identify & eliminate bottlenecks that delay production associated schedules to meet the ultimate standard and initiate simplification in the overall production process.
∎ Ensure Proper Method & Time Study Ensure Proper line balancing & confirm daily line-wise production target.
∎ Building relationship with merchandising department & production people for smooth operation.
∎ Close relationship with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery of products & optimal utilization of equipment & manpower.
∎ Train operators for particular operation as needed for specific steps.
∎ Analyze individual operator's performance.
∎ Method study activities in cutting, sewing, finishing
