∎ Project summary:
∎ The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Shobai Miley Shikhi Activity is a 5-year program aims to increase learning opportunities for children with disabilities in government primary schools across Bangladesh. The Activity closely collaborates with the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) to strengthen existing education reforms to enhance inclusive school environments and instruction; increase parents`, caregivers`, and the wider communities` ability to support inclusive education; and expand the government`s capacity to plan, deliver, and manage high-quality inclusive education. The Activity will develop user-friendly teacher support materials and methods that can be scaled and adapted nationwide and will carefully test these new approaches in some of the most hard-to-reach districts of the country.
∎ Position Profile:
∎ The Administrative and Logistics Officer is responsible for all office support and filing needs related to the DPE teacher trainings on SEND Framework, including completing and sharing the attendance sheet, after training reflection sheet, consent paper and pre-post training assessment copies with MERLA, Communications, Finance and Tech team. Managing background paperwork required for disbursing SEND teacher training materials to the Training Coordinators (TCs). Prepare the required materials list for SEND training and raise the purchase requisition. Receive the materials as per requisition, maintain register of issuing items and stock. The incumbent will work to ensure compliance with all RTI and donor rules and regulations especially for SEND teachers training.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Administrative and Logistics Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Administrative tasks:
∎ Liaise with Training Coordinators, Accountant, and Operations Specialist to gather all required documentation from trainings and organized files.
∎ Maintain and update documents of attendance sheet, consent paper and pre-post training assessment copies for all training participants and trainers.
∎ Collect the Government Order issued by respective education office for each batch SEND teachers training and upload to the SharePoint.
∎ Provide necessary documents of SEND teachers training to MERLA team.
∎ Maintain a log of Training Coordinator equipment. Liaise with Training Coordinators to regularly check on the functioning of their tablets and printers and help with maintenance or procuring replacements as needed.
∎ Collect the payment invoices of Training Coordinators, review and handover to Operational Specialist for further review and approval.
∎ Communicate with the Training Coordinator to confirm transfer of the monthly internet cost and supporting documentation.
∎ Perform administrative tasks as required and assigned by the Operations Specialist.
∎ Logistics Tasks:
∎ Update the SEND teachers training schedule/list, ensure to send the required materials to respective Upazila on time.
∎ Review the stock of procured training materials regularly and update supervisor.
∎ Prepare the necessary Purchase Requisition for training materials, submit to procurement unit after approval.
∎ Receive the requested training materials and update in the stock register.
∎ Communicate with the Training Coordinators to get the updates and accuracy of materials sent.
∎ Assist Admin and Finance Officer in Calculating, input bKash number in bKash provided Excel sheet batch wise teachers/meeting/workshop participants and vendors payment for teachers training.
∎ Assist Operations Specialist in preparing the Cost Share Documents for SEND teacher training.
∎ Any other task assigned by Operations Specialist or Operations Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Solid knowledge of administrative and logistical procedures.
∎ Knowledge and experience of handling private and confidential data.
∎ Experience working for an international development agency on a USAID funded activity a plus;
∎ Experience organizing meetings, workshops and other events preferred.
∎ Language Ability: Oral and written fluency in English and Bengali required.
∎ In a month, up to 25% of the time may be required to work in the field.
