Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure projects financial management systems, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency with BRAC standard operating procedures
∎ Advise project manager on financial health through the provision of regular and timely financial expenditure reports
∎ Assist the organisation and management related to internal and external audits
∎ Keep financial records and perform financial procedures
∎ Ensure agreed reporting dates are maintained according to donor requirements
∎ Assist in managing partners’ finance reporting ensuring compliance with BRAC and donor regulations
∎ Deposit Vat and Tax to Govt treasury as per NBR rules
∎ Ensure financial updated by fortnightly and monthly basis to Supervisor and HO
∎ Review all financial document and ensure to documenting it properly (soft copy & hard copy).
∎ Ensure cost effective office systems and facility management (e.g., IT support, office maintenance and repair, utility service, logistics support etc.)
∎ Ensure smooth travel and transportation facility to support the efficient running of daily operations
∎ Closely work with procurement and other support service teams to ensure smooth administrative operations
∎ Ensure safety and security of office and its belongings
∎ Ensure all procurement, vendor negotiation as per organizational policy & procedure
∎ Properly maintain stock register, Fixed asset register and other necessary registers.
∎ Maintain regular coordination with local branch and regional accounts & finance team.
∎ Maintain staff attendance register
∎ Maintain leave & movement register
∎ Advise staff on HRPP when required to ensure HRPP compliance
∎ Maintain personnel records
∎ Produce budget projections, analysis, trackers and reports for review and action
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual finance, assets and HR related reports for BRAC and donor
∎ Coordinate with the field office accounts unit regarding all financial, administrative and HR issues which can affect the execution of the project
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
