Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Achieve Zonal business targets (both assets and liabilities) as assigned through the effective use of Branches/ sub-branches/ Direct Sales team (DST) channels/other distribution channels etc.
∎ Regular communication (onsite and offsite) with branches/ sub-branches to promote/facilitate/monitor efforts and initiatives for business drive of all the employees
∎ Track branches business booking on regular basis, particularly new deposit account opening, timely loan file submission, loan disbursement, pipeline business processing, Non-funded business etc.
∎ Implement the agreed sales and marketing plan in the branch with the involvement of Retail and SME business team
∎ Design and execute business campaign as and when required
∎ Suggest/ realign/design product proposition for different regions based on market demand/potentiality and take initiative to implement the management decision with the support of product teamStress A/c Monitoring (CL Mgt.):
∎ Monitor the health of all regular loans including overdue and classified accounts
∎ Raising early alert of the potential problems to concerned branches and corporate office division/ business units for taking concerted effort for prevention
∎ Taking pro-active measures to refrain the asset portfolio from down-gradation
∎ Handling legal issues in coordination with legal/SAMD/ICCD teamOperation:
∎ Take proactive measure to reduce turn-around time (TAT) through efficient coordination between branches and Corporate office business wings/ CRM/CAD to expedite loan approval and disbursement process
∎ Ensure flawless operational support by acting as a bridge between corporate office divisions (specially, HRD, LSSD, ADC, Branding, BOD, SAMD, legal, ICCD etc.) and branches
∎ Formulate policies/action plans to increase efficiency in service delivery/ service quality in branches
∎ Playing active role in setting branches budget in coordination with Corporate Office business units and relevant divisions
∎ Jointly work with HRD to rationalize manpower and other issues
∎ Follow-up employees functional activities and discipline in their work station
∎ Take initiative by way of compiling issues and arranging meetings periodically with corporate office respective departments and branches to minimize operational bottlenecks which are hampering business growth
∎ Ensure necessary administrative support to Agent Banking outlets in own peripheryCompliance:
∎ Monitor and assist branches in complying various circulars and regulations
∎ Review and implement the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of the Branch and ensure strict compliance to the same
∎ Jointly work with ICCD/ Audit division to help branches in reducing observations
∎ Ensuring audit readiness before visit of the auditors (internal and external)Mentoring:
∎ Correspondence with branches on performance evaluation along with gap analysis and guidelines
∎ One to one communication with branch people on their potentialities and functional activities to increase efficiency
∎ Suggest and implement the action plan to improve branches profitability
∎ Time to time visit to the branches and customers as and when required
∎ Arranging necessary training for the branch employees for increasing efficiency Reporting:
∎ Regular evaluation of business performance of branches/sub-branches and other distribution channel against the set goals/ budgets
∎ Present branches performance to the top management/ SMT/Board periodically
∎ Comparative gap analysis based on command area branches performance and hinterland potentiality
∎ Business:
