∎ Tdh is working in Bangladesh since 1974, with operations in the north of the country (Kurigram district), in the Dhaka district and in Cox Bazaar district. Tdh is implementing programs on Health, WASH, Access to Justice (social cohesion and conflict resolution), Migration and Child protection, both in development and emergency context.
∎ Context:
∎ Tdh`s Child Protection (CP) program consists of three main components: Psychosocial Support (PSS) to children, adolescents and caregivers; Case Management, including Alternative Care and Caring for Child Survivors, and Support to Community-based CP mechanisms. To protect and promote the psychosocial wellbeing of adolescent boys and girls and young men and women through community-based approaches implemented at individual, family and community levels. The MHPSS component is based on Tdh innovative YouCreate methodology, and the Problem Management+ (PM+) intervention developed by WHO and family support and strengthening intervention. These intervention strategies are applicable for individual and group adolescents and adults who are having different psychosocial and adjustment issues due to migration.
∎ The project is to protect and promote the psychosocial wellbeing of adolescent boys and girls and young men and women through community-based approaches implemented at individual, family and community levels between host and refugee community population.
∎ General objective:
∎ Under the guidance of the PSS Team Leader, and directly supervised by PSS Facilitator, the recruited volunteers will be responsible to perform their duties as requested in the project activities. As per the job description, he/she will be responsible to mobilize the beneficiaries, support Tdh staff to run program activities, provide materials on time, restore materials after each activity and be responsive towards the beneficiary`s support during activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Arrange youth group formation with the guidance of the PSS Facilitator for Youcreate art action activities.
∎ Document and report the daily program activities.
∎ Collection of project materials from Tdh officers, distribute during activities and restore in a safe place after activities.
∎ Conduct community consultation with local majhis, religious leaders, local community persons to implement the activities timely.
∎ Ensure the registration and awareness session activities of adolescents, youth and caregivers and community members
∎ A report on any kinds of issues raised by the participants for better implementation of the project.
∎ Provide daily, weekly and monthly activity updates to the CBPSSO.
∎ Ensure that child protection standards are understood and applied and support the youth in establishing a clear referral system and Art-activities.
∎ Any other task as assigned by supervisor.
∎ Other responsibilities:
∎ Provide to youth with support during preparation for YouCreate/Art-based activities and follow-up and documentation of activities.
∎ Ensure the implementation of Tdh's Child Safeguarding and PSEA policies during activities implementation
Additional Requirements:

∎ Able to read, write and count properly
∎ Have good collaboration with block majhis and local community representatives.
∎ Leadership skill and good image in the community
∎ Ability to identify beneficiaries who need support
