Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the implementation of the project activities and ensure all assigned duties are carried out and that resources are efficiently utilized at all levels.
∎ Organize and follow up on the work of his/her department.
∎ Create work plan that prioritizes repair, O&M and desludging based on urgency.
∎ Carry out need basis assessment directly, according to schedule and specifications at project areas.
∎ According to the plan conduct latrine, bathing cubicle, drain, bin repair and operations maintenance and new construction works,
∎ As well as FSM/SWM plant repairs maintenance/upgradation works and desludging activity, which will ensure timely maintenance of quality.
∎ Closely supervise all daily worker & desludging volunteers work at the field.
∎ Prepare the BoQs, technical drawings on per need basis.
∎ Assist to prepare procurement documents for the request of quotations if required.
∎ Check the quality & quantity of ongoing works and vendor-supplied materials, alongside, update site stock register regularly.
∎ Collect activities related to all kinds of data from camp & host communities by the KoBo, and preserve properly.
∎ Update the line manager timely about existing field activities and what types of support needs.
∎ Support the Supervisor at the field level, other sector actors and the beneficiaries.
∎ Train the newly hired desludging volunteers/Dw’s with the guidance of the WASH Infrastructure Supervisor.
∎ Strong capacity to manage several teams DW, desludging volunteers etc.
∎ Supervise and monitor all implemented/implementing hardware works (Latrine construction, latrine decommissioning, bin construction, drain construction, FSM plant upgradation, bathing cubicle construction and operations maintenance) and ensure the works progress, according to the timeline and works specifications.
∎ Ensure that the contractor safeguards the safety of his laborers and the community people.
∎ Constructed hardware for more sustainability purposes regular coordinate with the community leader, majhee and other WASH actors staff at the field.
∎ Conduct needs assessment on different types of WASH Infrastructure (as per project objective) and reports to his/her line manager.
∎ Ensure constant communication with WASH staff members to identify potential problems, formulate recommendations and solutions and report to Supervisor, as well as submit weekly and monthly reports within the timeline.
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience with (I)NGO in relief context (3 to 4 years)
∎ Experience of construction for the rural structure communities such as WASH/FSM/SWM Plant
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Auto CAD
∎ Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Fluency in local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Excellent organization and communication skills
∎ Professionalism and thoroughness
∎ Good capacity to work under pressure
