Job Context:
∎ BLAST is a leading national legal aid and human rights organization providing legal advice, mediation, and litigation services, and undertaking advocacy to ensure the rights of women, men and children living in poverty or facing discrimination/social exclusion. BLAST works through its Head Office in Dhaka and 25 District-level Offices with 2600+ panel lawyers and 100+partner organizations.
∎ Position Description: BLAST is looking for a Training Coordinator for its Head Office, Dhaka. The Training Coordinator must be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of work on Training. S/he will coordinate and lead/assist all type of training activities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for conducting training of Blast staff, Partner organization and beneficiaries.
∎ Facilitating all training programs according to the action plan.
∎ Identifying gaps between the skills of individual BLAST staff and panel lawyers and the skills required for training.
∎ Conducting training need assessment.
∎ Designing and implementing training programs including supervising/preparing and developing training schedules, plans, budgets, materials, modules, and in consultation with relevant BLAST staff with regard to training content.
∎ Liaising with resource persons, both internal and external to the organization and developing a pool of trainers and resource persons.
∎ Creating and selecting tools to assist in the assessment of the training.
∎ Evaluating effectiveness of the competence of instruction, the content of training and training materials used.
∎ Overseeing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the performance of all training related staff and activities.
∎ Contributing to preparing proposals as well as quantitative and qualitative reports regarding training programs and IEC materials regarding training.
∎ Maintaining accurate and update records and archiving relating to training activities and materials.
∎ Preparing reports, including work progress report, for management and donors on training activities.
∎ Any other tasks may be required by the management from time to time.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Commensurate with experience and BLAST`s salary scale

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Festival bonuses (as per organizational policy) after successful completion of 6 months' probation period.
∎ Costs in relation to field work will be borne by the organization
