  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in any discipline (Social Sciences, Humanities, or relevant subjects preferred) from a recognized college or university. In case of highly experienced NGO field workers, educational qualification may be relaxed.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of direct field-level working experience in NGOs, specifically in community mobilization, school-based interventions, human rights, or youth development projects.

  • Strong passion for community development and proven ability to comfortably interact with school children, youth, and rural community leaders.

  • Fluency in local dialect communication and strong interpersonal problem-solving skills.

  • Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license and daily field mobilization.

  • Basic reporting skills and ability to share digital updates via smartphone communication tools.

  • Sound documentation skills and basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years. However, age and educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.

Organisation Information:

Anandalok Trust for Education and Development, a charitable and non-profit organization registered in 2017, aims to develop enlightened, critically aware and skilled human resources for a more humane, equitable and just society in Bangladesh. Anandalok Trust is going to implement a project titled "Empowering young and adult multipliers for advancing human rights, gender equality and social inclusion in Bangladesh" (short: AHIMSA) supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice. The project will be implemented in Jhenaidah and Kushtia districts. Anandalok Trust is looking for a highly transparent, meticulous, and professional individual for the following position:

Job Nature: Full-time (Contractual); Reportable to Area Coordinator.

Job Location: Kushtia / Jhenaidah (Grassroots Unions and Villages with daily mandatory field movement)

Responsibility:

  • The Field Facilitator will serve as the primary grassroots mobilizer for the AHIMSA project at the union and village levels. The core role involves working directly with high school students, teachers, youth groups, and village-level Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). The Field Facilitator will facilitate regular cluster-level awareness meetings, follow up on youth-led online/offline campaigns, organize grassroots cultural events, and report day-to-day progress directly to the Area Coordinator.

Specific Responsibilities (Core Duties & Grassroots Mobilization):

  • Form, mobilize, and structurally support student forums, youth networks, CSOs, and other groups as per project requirements.

  • Prepare and implement weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual action plans at the grassroots level.

  • Build capacity of CSOs and groups by organizing and facilitating trainings on conflict transformation, peacebuilding, human rights, non-violent approaches, and identity-based violence.

  • Assist the Technical Officer and cultural groups in organizing grassroots Forum Theatre performances and managing girls' self-defense training schedules.

  • Encourage and guide rural youth and students to safely utilize the online 'Peace Multiplier Platform' and track digital campaigns.

  • Assist community members, especially marginalized groups, in accessing public services under the Right to Information (RTI) Act through Union Digital Centers (UDCs).

  • Maintain active communication, daily operational liaison, and coordination with school teachers, SMCs, parents, public authorities, and community stakeholders.

  • Maintain all sorts of project documentation, collect qualitative/quantitative data, and gather weekly grassroots success stories/case studies.

  • Support the Supervisor (Area Coordinator) to prepare progress reports and ensure smooth implementation of project activities.

  • Ensure a gender-friendly environment at all levels, strictly practicing institutional safeguarding protocols (Child Protection, Gender, and PSH).

  • Carry out any other assignments or duties required by the organization.

  • Establish and continue formal and informal linkage/network with community, local authorities, government officials, local leaders and other organizations.



Job Other Benifits:

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Monthly Gross Salary: 25,000 BDT including PF.

    • Festival Bonus: 01 per fiscal year (pro-rata basis) equivalent to one month's gross salary.

    • Gratuity: 01 per fiscal year as per organizational rules equivalent to one month's gross salary.

    • Other Benefits: Travel/Motorcycle allowance and fringe benefits as per institutional policies.
