  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in the NGO sector, with at least 3 years of direct experience as a Project Manager in Human Rights, Youth Empowerment, or Social Inclusion projects.

  • Proven experience in conducting trainings/workshops on conflict transformation, non-violent communication, and gender justice.

  • Excellent professional communication, representation, and documentation/report-writing skills in both English and Bangla.

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, internet, and remote communication tools).

  • Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license and be willing to ride in remote field areas.

  • Prior experience with BMZ or NETZ-funded projects will be highly preferred.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years. However, age and educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.

Anandalok Trust for Education and Development, a charitable and non-profit organization registered in 2017, aims to develop enlightened, critically aware and skilled human resources for a more humane, equitable and just society in Bangladesh. Anandalok Trust is going to implement a project titled "Empowering young and adult multipliers for advancing human rights, gender equality and social inclusion in Bangladesh" (short: AHIMSA) supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice. The project will be implemented in Jhenaidah and Kushtia districts. Anandalok Trust is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and committed individual for the following position:

Job Nature: Full-time (Contractual); Direct reportable to Executive Director.

Job Location: Jhenaidah (with regular and intensive travel to Kushtia and field locations)

Responsibility:

The Project Manager will be overall responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and coordination of the AHIMSA project. He/She will manage and monitor project staff; design and conduct capacity-building trainings and workshops; ensure institutional safeguarding protocols; manage project finances; maintain strong communication with NETZ, local civil society members, and Government authorities; and deliver high-quality reporting and documentation.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project goals and impact are achieved through effective, efficient, and quality implementation of all project activities.

  • Develop, prepare, and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual project implementation and work plans.

  • Provide strong leadership, direct guidance, supervision, performance management, and on-job coaching/mentoring to the project team.

  • Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to team members, especially on human rights, gender, women empowerment, non-violence, and safeguarding.

  • Design and facilitate high-level capacity-building trainings (ToT) for staff, SMCs, CSOs, and ensure proper formation of school/community groups.

  • Prepare and draft high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual quantitative and qualitative progress reports, best practices, and policy briefs.

  • Share assessments and regular progress reports with the Executive Director and provide support to conduct project research and studies.

  • Organize, lead, and facilitate inception workshops, steering meetings, regional seminars, stakeholder dialogues, and public events.

  • Establish and continue formal and informal linkages/networks with community leaders, local authorities, and government officials.

  • Ensure smooth functioning of financial management and resource optimization, including checking, recommending, and approving all project advances, expenditures, and bill/vouche

  • Manage field-level crises, promote a gender-friendly environment, and strictly enforce institutional safeguarding policies (Child Protection, Gender, and PSH) across all activities.



Job Other Benifits:

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Monthly Gross Salary: 60,000 including PF.

    • Festival Bonus: 01 per fiscal year (pro-rata basis) equivalent to one month's gross salary.

    • Gratuity: 01 per fiscal year as per organizational rules equivalent to one month's gross salary.

    • Other Benefits: Travel/Motorcycle allowance and fringe benefits as per institutional policies.
