Program Planning and Implementation
Supervise and coordinate all formal and non-formal education activities.
Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly education plans aligned with organizational goals.
Ensure learning activities follow approved curricula and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Support the enrollment, attendance, retention, and progression of children in educational programs.
Organize bridge education and remedial learning opportunities for out-of-school children.
2. Supervision and Capacity Building
Supervise teachers, facilitators, tutors, and volunteers.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Identify training needs and organize professional development sessions.
Promote innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
3. Student Development and Welfare
Monitor students’ academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
Identify learning difficulties and coordinate appropriate support.
Work with social workers and caregivers to address barriers affecting education.
Encourage participation in extracurricular, cultural, and life-skills activities.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, academic performance, and program outcomes.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and donors.
Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements.
Ensure proper documentation of success stories, case studies, and best practices.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with government schools, education authorities, training institutes, and partner organizations.
Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community members.
Represent the organization in education-related meetings and networking events.
Support referrals for scholarships, vocational education, and other educational opportunities.
6. Child Protection and Safeguarding
Ensure all education activities comply with the organization’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory learning environment.
Report and respond appropriately to child protection concerns following organizational procedures.
7. Resource and Administrative Management
Assist in preparing education budgets and resource plans.
Monitor the use of teaching materials and educational equipment.
Ensure classrooms and learning spaces are well organized and conducive to learning.
Support procurement of educational materials when required.
