Exposure to VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or Linux Server Administration.
Basic knowledge of backup policies, RAID configuration, or monitoring tools.
Understanding of ITIL or Infrastructure Operations processes.
Minimum 1 Year experience in related field
Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Trainee Technology Specialist – Infrastructure Solutions to join our : Hybrid Infrastructure & Networking Solutions team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to develop hands-on experience in Server Management, Storage Systems, Virtualization Platforms, Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) Solutions, and Observability Platforms used to manage enterprise IT environments. The trainee will work under the supervision of senior engineers and gain practical exposure to multi-vendor infrastructure technologies and operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in deploying, configuring, and managing server infrastructure (physical and virtual).
Support storage administration, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning of SAN/NAS environments.
Learn to manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Nutanix AHV.
Participate in backup and recovery operations, including configuration of backup jobs, verification, and restoration testing.
Assist in implementing and monitoring Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for business continuity.
Support the setup and operation of Observability and Monitoring Platforms (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, Grafana).
Help document infrastructure topologies, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with network, cloud, and security teams for integrated infrastructure management.
