∎ 2-year experience in providing medical consultation. Experience in working on Medicine/ Gynecology and obstetrics will be given preferences.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders and team members.
∎ Stay updated on the latest guidelines and best practices in maternity care and telemedicine.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and motivational skills.
∎ Proficient in computer applications, Microsoft Word, Excel.
∎ Have Knowledge in public health field and Clinical decision making
∎ Ability to work independently and have knowledge to perform Ultra Sonogram.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide teleconsultation services for all patients, including pregnant women and individuals with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), at Char Primary Health Centers through a shift-based roster system.
∎ Offer remote guidance to midwives during labor and childbirth, as well as postnatal teleconsultations to monitor the health of both the mother and baby.
∎ Raise awareness among patients about healthy lifestyles, self-care, and general health information, while addressing their concerns.
∎ Collaborate closely with on-site midwives and paramedic professionals to ensure seamless and continuous patient care.
∎ Maintain accurate, confidential electronic health records for all teleconsultation sessions.SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ The Char-based Healthcare with Remote Maternal Services (CHARMS) initiative, launched by the BRAC Health Program, is designed to deliver vital healthcare services to remote and hard-to-access riverine islands, referred to as chars. This project prioritizes improving the health and well-being of residents, with a strong focus on maternal and newborn health, while also providing quality care for individuals with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through the use of modern health technologies.
