∎ Training/Trade Course: Training on Footwear Production
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 30 year(s)

Garments, Tannery/Footwear
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze, create and organize the constructions of 2D/3D models and patterns to be used for the technical product description
∎ Support the Product team by analyzing designs for manufacturability, production, and material properties, offering economic and efficient solutions to achieve cost targets
∎ Actively participate in cross-training for CAD and pattern engineering with the goal to provide customers in Design and Development with the complete range of technical product data (Uppers and Bottoms)
∎ Collaborate with Sourcing to enable them to execute product demands
∎ Conduct tear-down meetings (i.e. with Product testing, Development) to ensure that each shoe is engineered and constructed to meet SFL customer’s quality standards
∎ Mentor new employees in technical product development by teaching them about SFL customer’s specific technical standards, processes, and systems
∎ Evaluate work processes for future improvements in close communication with the Sourcing team
∎ Offer technical solutions to the team taking into consideration cost and manufacturing constraints
∎ Increase the speed and efficiency of processes by eliminating non-value adding steps and trying to execute “Right the First Time”
∎ Use the internal database to keep track of the constructions during the development process
∎ Support and guide technician in the team in all aspects of Technical Management
∎ Daily monitor each section manufacturing process and make solution if any bottleneck found in the whole process
∎ Ensure daily productivity and efficiency
∎ Ensure the pre-production trial and bulk production accordingly
∎ Forecast machine and technical support SFL needed for the upcoming order
∎ Ensure the line layout, machine layout for present and future demands of SFL
∎ Develop PD team for SFL for new product line making for projected sale
∎ Ensure proper reporting to the Management periodically and on an urgent basis
∎ Perform any other relevant activities assigned by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have vast experience in footwear technology
∎ Positive attitude towards work
∎ Problem-solving attitude
∎ Good leadership quality
∎ Having good knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines of work
∎ Multitasker
