∎ KNOWLEDGE: Development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies, quality control, education industry
∎ SKILLS: Monitoring and evaluating, preparing reports, auditing, budgeting, communication, researching, writing, analysing project quality
∎ COMPETENCIES: Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders


Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the technical focal team for implementing teaching learning, ECE, Gender, EdTech and Disability interventions in the field
∎ Provide technical guidance, mentorship, capacity development, and close support to teachers and education staff in implementing competency-based, inclusive, and child-centred teaching methodologies
∎ Oversee the establishment and operational quality of Community-Based Learning Facilities (CBLF), Learning Centres, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) centres, ensuring these are inclusive, safe, and stimulating environments for learners
∎ Lead training and mentoring for teaching volunteers and staff on basic training, subject-based training, lesson planning, play-based pedagogy, and inclusive classroom management in line with education sector standards and donor requirements
∎ Supervise the integration and effective use of educational technology tools, girls' education, disability inclusion and gender assessment processes in alignment with MC curriculum
∎ Provide technical support to prepare training modules, manuals, and curricula for quality implementation, including digital literacy and the pedagogical use of technology
∎ Directed capacity-building initiatives for staff, community leaders, and volunteers on Gender based pedagogy, ECE, teaching pedagogy and inclusion within education
∎ Coordinate with various stakeholders, including donors and partners, across multiple technical groups in the education sector
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so

∎ This position will be responsible for ensuring quality classroom teaching to identify key gaps in material development quality. It will also assure the quality development of LC activities and education system as well. It will also ensure technical guidance to DPMs and Team.
