∎ Leading manufacturer and distributor of apparel and accessories under licensed brands, owned brands and private label brands.
∎ Product: Women`s Woven, Knit, knit Cut & Sew- Sportswear, Suit & Suit separates, Men`s & Women`s Outerwear, Active wear,
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Full responsibilities to resolve Garment Technical issue.
∎ Conduct PP meeting, inline and final AQL Inspections and provide solutions to solve quality issues.
∎ Conduct Shadow Inspection from QC Output.
∎ Conduct Production Note
∎ Ensure all production corrective actions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
∎ Ensure factories/suppliers adhere to GIII/customer quality standards. Provide technical support to factories to ensure product quality.
∎ Conduct factory audit, assessment to support management to review.
∎ Supervise QCs daily work, provide solution to subordinates for deal with tough issues. Coach and manage subordinates.
∎ Other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 60 years
∎ 7-10 years' experience as Technical Manager, has the experience and works in Bangladesh/India/Pakistan/Sri Lanka is preferred.
∎ Familiar with garment production process and garment quality standards.
∎ Strong knowledge in fabric and garment technology.
∎ Energetic person with at least 5 years' experience as a manager positive mentality
∎ sound knowledge of product (garments) and quality control operations.
∎ Needs to have an eye for detail whilst being pro-active in identifying potential problems well in advance and take necessary corrective/preventive action,
∎ Needs to be a good team player with the ability to work with quality reports and records.
∎ Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
∎ Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
∎ Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
∎ Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
∎ Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
∎ Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
∎ Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
∎ Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
∎ Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow required regulations
∎ Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
∎ Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
∎ Attention to detail Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws
∎ Interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
∎ A good command of the English language.
∎ Problem solver. Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
∎ Business travel is a must once required.
