We, JIN HONG GARMENTS LTD, a sister concern of DISHANG GROUP (China’s largest manufacturer and exporter of apparel and textiles), are seeking an exceptionally dynamic, result-driven, and technically strong Technical Manager to lead our Padding Jacket Sewing Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multiple sewing lines, strong technical knowledge of jacket construction, excellent floor control, and the ability to drive production efficiency, quality, and on-time shipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review tech pack, sample, measurement sheet, construction details, and operation bulletin before production.
Ensure correct sewing methods, seam specification, SPI, machine attachment, and workmanship standard.
Develop and maintain operation breakdown for all jacket styles.
Monitor critical operations such as padding, quilting, zipper setting, hood attachment, sleeve setting, pocket joining, and finishing.
Provide technical instruction to line supervisors, line chiefs, mechanics, and operators.
Ensure all machines and folders are properly set according to style requirement.
Review proto, fit, size set, and PP sample before starting bulk production.
Conduct pre-production meeting with all related departments.
Confirm approved sample, trim card, swatch card, construction, and measurement before line feeding.
Ensure no production starts without approved PP sample and technical clarification.
Ensure production is carried out according to buyer quality standards.
Reduce DHU, alteration, rejection, and rework percentage.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, SOP, safety rules, and factory quality procedures.
Coordinate with QA and Compliance teams during buyer inspection and audit.
Monitor hourly production and line efficiency.
Analyze bottleneck operations and take corrective action to improve productivity
Minimize machine idle time, operator waiting time, and production loss.
Introduce new methods, attachments, and process improvements to increase efficiency.
Ensure targeted efficiency and shipment plan are achieved.
Build strong communication between Chinese management and local employees.
Resolve line-related problems, worker disputes, and operational issues promptly.
Coordinate with maintenance and mechanical team to ensure all machines are running properly.
Ensure availability of required folders, guides, special machines, and attachments.
Control production cost by reducing wastage, rework, overtime, and excess manpower.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, IE, Quality, Planning, Cutting, Finishing, Store, and Maintenance departments.
Communicate technical requirements clearly to Chinese management and local production teams.
