Job Context:

JIN HONG GARMENTS LTD, a sister concern of DISHANG GROUP, one of China's leading apparel manufacturers and exporters, is looking for a competent and dedicated Medical Assistant (BMDC Registered) to strengthen its Occupational Health and Worker Welfare Program. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring workplace health services, employee well-being, legal compliance, and adherence to international buyer requirements and sustainability standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide primary healthcare, first aid, and emergency medical support to employees.

• Assist the Factory Doctor in treatment, consultations, and occupational health services.

• Maintain medical records, treatment registers, referral documentation, and employee health data.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, buyer requirements, and workplace health standards.

• Support compliance audits conducted by our customer like; GU, Carrefour, Zara, Primark, GAP, Next, BESTSELLER, SANMAR, Lidl, LPP, and other international customers.

• Support certification audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ICS, WCA, Better Work, Higg, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISO, etc.) and maintain related documentation.

• Monitor occupational health risks and implement preventive measures to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Conduct health awareness programs on hygiene, nutrition, ergonomics, reproductive health, and disease prevention.

• Participate in emergency response activities, fire drills, accident investigations, and corrective action implementation.

• Monitor worker welfare facilities, including sanitation, drinking water, canteen hygiene, and childcare arrangements.

• Maintain medicine inventory, first-aid supplies, and medical equipment.

• Prepare medical reports, injury statistics, and compliance-related records for management and audits.

• Coordinate with HR, Compliance, Safety, and Production teams on employee health and welfare matters.

• Support government inspections, RSC requirements, and other regulatory compliance activities.

• Or Any other task assigned by the management time to time.
