Qualifications and Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and project delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience as Technical Lead, System Analyst, Scrum Master, or Project Manager for SaaS products.

• Strong expertise in modern web technologies (Next.js, React, Python/Django, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS).

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Sound knowledge of information security and secure coding practices.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Scrum Master or PMP certification will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and clients.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and seasoned professional to serve as Technical Lead/Architect for a web-based SaaS application designed for the global medical sector. This Dhaka-based role centers on providing strong technical leadership, ensuring that business objectives, architectural vision, and software implementation remain fully aligned. The position requires a unique combination of deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and agile delivery management to guide a cross-functional development team in delivering robust, enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall technical leadership and direction for the SaaS platform.
• Analyze business and functional requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end project management including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring the team follows agile best practices.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure alignment of requirements, design, and delivery.
• Mentor and guide frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality code and system performance.
• Implement and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and information security best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Coordinate across multiple stakeholders for seamless execution.

Key Deliverables

• End-to-end delivery of the SaaS application with high performance, scalability, and security.
• Well-defined technical documentation including architecture, workflows, and system integration guides.
• Agile project plans, sprint backlogs, and regular progress reports.
• Established coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
• Successful integration of third-party services (DocuSign, Stripe, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Validated compliance with security and data protection regulations.
• A well-mentored and high-performing engineering team aligned with project objectives.
