• Bachelor/Honors

Bachelor`s degree in Textile Engineering or MBA/BBA (or equivalent certificate) in Merchandising.

• 12 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House

• At least 12-15 years of experience in Sweater Merchandising for European or US buyers.

• Proven technical knowledge of sweater production, including different gauges, knitting techniques, linking, and washing processes.

• Strong understanding of different yarn types, compositions, and their properties.

• Good knowledge of sweater factories and yarn suppliers concerning price, quality, capacity & lead times.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (both written and spoken).

• Experience in an International Buying House, Trading House, or Liaison Office will be an added advantage.

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader, Sweater to join our team in Dhaka. If you have a passion for textile engineering and a strong background in Sweater production, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sweater orders from development to shipment, liaising effectively between buyers and factories.
• Prepare accurate yarn consumption and costing for various sweater types (e.g., jacquard, intarsia, cable knit) to meet buyer target prices.
• Source and develop various types of yarns (e.g., cotton, acrylic, wool, fancy yarns) and accessories according to buyer specifications.
• Manage the entire sample development process, including proto, fit, and salesman samples, and communicate with buyers for timely approvals.
• Review cost packages and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical, QC, and production teams to ensure sweater quality standards and on-time delivery of all orders.
