Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA/ MBA/ Masters from any reputed university.
∎ B.Sc. in Textile Engineering OR Apparel Manufacturing OR Professional Degree in Apparel Merchandising will be given preference from BUFT, SANTO MARIAM, BUTEX OR any reputed institute/ University will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To deal with the buyers independently for all aspects of marketing and merchandising activities including marketing, sourcing, price quoting, negotiating, collecting orders, shipment etc.
∎ Follow up with a buyer for the feedback of the price, sample & capacity/space booking.
∎ Keep close liaison with the buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning etc.
∎ Make T&A (Time & Action) plan & ensuring cross check with IE & planning department to ensure on time shipment.
∎ To coordinate daily operational activities in pre-production, sample development, costing and consumption of orders.
∎ Prepare all kinds of production samples such as PP sample, size set sample, shipment sample before deadline of buyer requirement.
∎ Review marketing & Merchandising team, quality teams, shipping team daily and weekly monitoring progress and report any foreseen delays to the business head & customer.
∎ Arrange all submissions & approvals on time.
∎ Checking the sample quality before sending to buyer.
∎ To coordinate with technical department on productivity and quality issues.
∎ Advice factory/production/quality team on fabric, production, quality etc. related technical issues.
∎ Communicate with client/customer on a regular basis to provide up-to-date info regarding the status of production and shipment of garments.
∎ Ensure that production plan is prepared and maintained by the team to meet the delivery deadlines.
∎ To give a monthly report on sales and marketing and attend meetings of marketing and management team.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Marketing, Merchandising.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Foreign Liaison Office, Buying Office, Group of Companies, Garments, Textile
∎ Must have vast knowledge on cost calculation & price negotiation.
∎ Must have practical experience in handling buyer like: Inditex(Zara), C&A, Primark, LPP, Walmart, Best Seller.
∎ Should have strong communication skill (both written and spoken) in English.
∎ Good Interpersonal and problem solving skills.
∎ Strong people management skill-fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team.
∎ Able to work under pressure & maintain good team environment.
