Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout.
∎ Inspect in-line and end-line production to detect any defects or non-conformities.
∎ Ensure the knitting, linking, trimming, washing, and finishing processes are aligned with buyer standards.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to solve quality issues proactively.
∎ Prepare daily quality inspection reports and escalate serious issues to management.
∎ Maintain quality audit reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
∎ Follow up on rework and repairs to ensure defects are rectified properly.
∎ Support factory internal audits and external buyer inspections.
∎ Conducted pre-final and final (Inline/midline/shipment) inspections of factory production.
∎ Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, AQL standards, and technical specifications.
∎ Prepare inspection reports and communicate with buying/merchandising teams regarding product quality.
∎ Approve samples for bulk production and monitor consistency throughout production.
∎ Liaise with factory QC teams and provide training or guidance as needed.
∎ Report any quality risks and recommend preventive measures to buyers/management.
∎ Support product development and ensure quality feasibility in the sampling stage.
∎ We are looking for a skilled quality controller (QC) to work in the Buying House/ Liason Office for sweaters. The role involves ensuring product quality at every stage—from production to shipment—while meeting buyer standards and supporting both factory and office QC operations.
