Education:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed university.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role, focusing on active directory, server, storage, virtualization, backup etc.

• Knowledge regarding backup and recovery, DR and business continuity management, containerization and Active Directory.

• Awareness and usage of AI tools, Operating Systems (Windows Server and Linux) etc.

• Deep understanding of virtualization platforms.

• Foundational knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and enterprise storage technologies.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual) in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects to manage user access, authentication, security policies and deep security server management.

• Deploy and manage virtual machines in VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Linux KVM/QEMU environments, optimizing resource allocation and system performance.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate containerized workloads at scale with Kubernetes for development, testing, and production environments.

• Manage SAN/NAS storage infrastructure, including provisioning, optimization and proactive monitoring and ensuring secure, efficient data access and redundancy.

• Maintain and configure backup and disaster recovery strategies using tools like Veeam.

• Proactively monitor system performance and health, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal resource utilization.

• Perform regular system maintenance, including OS upgrades, patch management, and firmware updates to ensure security, reliability, and compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams including stakeholders, to align IT infrastructure with business needs.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.

• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
