• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

• Leadership skills and ability manage staff

• Strong decision making and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

Job Context:

Wholesale Club Ltd. Is an enterprise of JAMUNA GROUP, which is one & only hypermarket in Bangladesh. Right now we are looking for an effective Warehouse Supervisor to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. He will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, product GRN, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company`s policies and vision.

• Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals

• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are delivered to the floor in a timely manner

• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods

• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.

• Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

• Inspect storage products, equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary

• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention

• Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency

• Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

• Any other task assigned by the management time to time
