    • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law
    • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Public Administration
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management
    • Master of Arts (MA) in Law
  • Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Public Administration, or related discipline.

  • Additional qualification in Corporate Governance or Company Secretarial Practice will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in administration and corporate affairs.

  • Experience in insurance, banking, or financial institutions will be preferred.

  • Sound knowledge of the Companies Act, Insurance Act, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Corporate governance and compliance knowledge.

  • Report writing and documentation.

  • Negotiation and problem-solving ability.

Karnaphuli Insurance PLC, one of the leading non-life insurance companies in Bangladesh, is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for the position of Head of Administration & Deputy Company Secretary.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Administration Department ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Oversee office administration, procurement, logistics, security, transport, and asset management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.

  • Aware of labor act 2006.

  • Assist the Company Secretary in organizing Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings.

  • Prepare Board agendas, minutes, resolutions, statutory returns, and regulatory submissions.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders.

  • Supervise office facilities, vendor management, and administrative budgeting.

  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.

  • Well aware about IDRA rules & regulations
