- Expertise in respect of labor law, industrial relationship and disposal of complaints. Basic knowledge of compensations.
- Ability & willingness to work in Shift-in duties. (Females will be in general shift).
Responsibilities & Context: Only those who are willing to work in shift in duties can apply.
The incumbent shall follow the approved policies and coordinate the management of the labor relations section.
Responsibilities:
- Give support to the immediate supervisor to handle grievance procedures or policy: suggestion box, open door policy, etc.
- Coordinate the application of the absenteeism procedure or policy.
- Coordinate any motivational program related to absenteeism.
- Give support to apply disciplinary action.
- Guarantee that the area under his/her responsibility is full compliance with the company`s Code of Conduct.
- Guarantee that the company is full compliance with Bangladesh labor code 2006.
- Conduct inquiry for disciplinary cases and make report.
- Keep up to date the report and record of the disciplinary process. Make the exit interview of the workers and keep up date an exit interview report.
- Support the implementation of the work climate survey and ensure compliance with action plan.
- Maintain a good working condition and a good work environment between all workers and employees.
- Conduct training on Code of Conduct.
- Encourage the formation of different unions, joint manufacturing committees, co-operative society and welfare committee of the workers and supervising their activities.
- Observe different facilities including, canteen, waiting room, childcare center, adequate number of toilets and latrines, drinking water etc.
- Help the workers for having leaves granted with salary facilities and informing the workers about all kinds of leaves and other relevant regulations.
- Try to improve the works and standard of living of the workers and recommending for their welfare and benevolence.
- Maintain contact with the medical officers and the authority of the factory/institute to provide better treatment facilities to the workers.
