Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries, is establishing a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery, having an annual production capacity of 1.5 million MT. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets to meet the growing demand in the local market and to contribute significantly to economic growth through exports around the globe. To achieve this goal, we are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and fresh Sub Assistant Engineers. The incumbent will be responsible for field-oriented maintenance activities in the Rolling Mill. The role involves supporting shift operations, ensuring reliability of equipment, carrying out preventive/corrective/breakdown maintenance, and directly engaging in repair work under the supervision of the Shift In-Charge (Mechanical).

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in condition monitoring, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of rolling mill equipment such as Re-heating Furnace, Hot Rolling Mill, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Lubrication Units, Bending Machines, EOT Cranes, and Water Treatment Plant.

• Learn troubleshooting techniques by observing and supporting inspections, helping minimize downtime and ensuring reliable equipment performance.

• Support in maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems under guidance to gain practical skills in smooth and safe operations.

• Follow instructions, SOPs, and technical manuals to understand engineering standards, quality practices, and long-term machine stability.

• Assist in planned maintenance activities by helping with checklists, reporting equipment conditions, and recording job updates.

• Learn basic spare parts management by helping prepare and update spare parts lists, understanding critical spares, and supporting stock availability.

• Maintain proper housekeeping in work areas by organizing tools, cleaning equipment, and following discipline in daily tasks.

• Strictly comply with safety rules, risk assessments, and safe work practices to develop a strong safety culture.
