• Experience in steel plants, heavy industries, power plants, or substation equipment manufacturing companies will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of high-voltage protection systems, substations, and industrial electrical equipment.

• Hands-on experience in relay configuration, switchgear maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, relay logic diagrams, and control drawings.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical project documentation.

• Familiarity with PLC, SAS, and SCADA-based automation systems.

• Good understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures

The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are looking for Sub-Assistant Engineer/ Junior Engineer- Electrical to support day-to-day substation and electrical operations. This role ensures accurate monitoring of energy consumption, proper operation of protection systems, and safe coordination with maintenance teams to maintain uninterrupted power supply and operational safety of the plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring substation equipment, energy meters, power factor systems, relays, and VCB/SF6 switchgear by inspecting parameters and checking operational status to ensure smooth electrical supply and early detection of faults.

• Record and maintain feeder-wise energy consumption data regularly by logging readings from SCADA/SAS systems and manual meters to track plant energy usage and support cost control initiatives.

• Maintain tripping alarm and shutdown records by documenting events, issuing necessary shutdown or safety clearance to the maintenance team, ensuring personnel safety during maintenance or emergency operations.

• Monitor HT switchgear, transformer parameters, feeder load conditions, and protection system indications by inspecting equipment status and analyzing operational logs to ensure reliable and stable substation performance.

• Maintain operation logbooks and event reports by systematically documenting substation activities, alarms, and corrective actions to provide accurate records for performance tracking and audits.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams during faults, shutdowns, and restoration activities by communicating real-time information, supervising technical procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols for uninterrupted plant operations.
