Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conducting regular teaching sessions for secondary grades, specifically focusing on STEM subjects for Grades 9&10 and above.
∎ Developing and updating lesson plans and teaching materials, monitoring student progress, participating in professional development, assisting teachers in content creation, collaborating on monthly support plans, identifying the needs of struggling teachers, actively engaging in Teaching-Learning Circles for continuous professional development, and supporting data collection for training and teacher support.
∎ Adherence to child protection, gender, PSEA rules, and organizational policies.
∎ Conduct regular teaching sessions for secondary grades, particularly focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), with an emphasis on Grades 9&10 and above.
∎ Develop and consistently update lesson plans and teaching-learning materials to ensure effective support for learners in STEM subjects.
∎ Monitor and track the learning progress of students, providing regular updates to the line supervisor.
∎ Participate in ongoing professional development training and extend support to learners and fellow teachers as required.
∎ Assist teachers in creating content-related materials for science and mathematics classrooms.
∎ Collaborate with the respective supervisor to develop and share a monthly support plan, providing assistance to learners and other teachers in selected camps.
∎ Identify the specific needs of struggling teachers in coordination with the Master Trainer and Mentor teacher.
∎ Engage actively in Teaching-Learning Circles (TLC) to contribute to continuous professional development, fostering reflective practice sessions.
∎ Provide support in the collection and management of training and teacher support data as required by the project team.
∎ Ensure adherence to child protection, gender, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) rules, code of conduct, and organizational policies.
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ 1 to 2 year(s) of experiences·
∎ Age 25 to 35 years·
∎ Excellent knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.·
∎ Excellent in 4 skills of English.
∎ Capable of effectively communicating with the Rohingya Community, and management·
∎ Capable of working under pressure.
∎ Good command on MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and other relevant computer skills.
∎ Have strong team working skills and a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely to implement project activities.
