Responsibilities & Context:
Arrange trucks and execute shipments in alignment with Supply Chain plans and schedules.
Oversee daily transportation operations to ensure on-time, safe, and quality delivery of goods.
Monitor truck trip performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
Ensure optimal utilization of company-owned vehicles for cost-effective operations.
Track and monitor vehicle lead times, workshop durations, and idle/wastage times to minimize delays.
Supervise quick maintenance of idle trucks to reduce downtime and maintain fleet readiness.
Issue and manage transport programs through SAP software.
Ensure accuracy and integrity in day-to-day tasks that will have been assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor based on job scope.
