∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Technical Infrastructure

Job Context:
∎ Design and maintain MongoDB instances
∎ Prepare necessary documents in details
∎ Optimize performance issues
∎ Plan procedures for backup in case of data loss
∎ Automate routine DB operations with proper scripting
∎ Execute DB updates within deadlines
∎ Understand and improve current functionality of the MongoDB query engine
∎ Identify, design, implement, test, and support new features related to query performance and robustness, query language enhancements, diagnostics for query performance problems, and integration with other products and tools
∎ Work with other teams including client drivers, cloud services, enterprise tools, support, consulting, education, and marketing to coordinate changes or contribute to their projects

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and configure MongoDB instances
∎ Configure, monitor, and deploy replica sets
∎ Design indexing strategies and Upgrade databases through patches
∎ Understand and improve current functionality of the MongoDB query engine
∎ Suggest new ideas towards team and project goals and work with team to achieve them
∎ Ensure that the databases achieve maximum performance and availability
∎ Write procedures for backup and disaster recovery
∎ Have to work with modern open source MongoDB platforms cloud deployment models and test-driven development in a fast paced agile environment
∎ Troubleshoot any problems that may come up with the database environments Skilled in performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures Able to design and estimate for given requirement independently Experience working with cloud database services a plus

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Troubleshooting MongoDB bottlenecks
∎ Good understanding of DB schema design performance tuning and capacity planning
∎ State of art MongoDB performance tuning capabilities
∎ Familiarity with code versioning tools, like Git, SVN, and Mercurial
∎ Experience working in Azure, AWS, or any other cloud platform
∎ Experience with Big Data solutions like Hadoop
∎ Experience with other NoSQL Databases like (Cassandra, Amazon, DynamoDB, CouchDB)
∎ Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks
∎ Experience in back-end runtime language or framework like Node.js or .NET Core and MongoDB driver
∎ Experience working in Agile Scrum environment Strong communication documentation skills technology awareness
