Additional Requirements:
Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of total work experience in the merchandising team of a reputed Knit garments factory, with direct experience handling renowned international buyers/brands.
Strong command of English and solid mathematical skills are essential.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, email correspondence, WhatsApp, and tools like ChatGPT is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the merchandising process from order confirmation to shipment, coordinating with buyers and production teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Monitor order progress and keep all stakeholders regularly informed. Collaborate with design teams to develop samples as per buyer requirements, reviewing and approving them to meet quality and specification standards while suggesting improvements aligned with market trends.
Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries and keeping them updated on order status and delivery schedules.
Liaise with fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and negotiate favorable prices and terms.
Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet required standards, resolving any quality issues promptly through coordination with production.
Maintain accurate documentation of all merchandising activities, including order details, correspondence, and quality reports, and prepare regular updates for management.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet departmental goals while guiding and supporting junior team members.
Proactively identify and resolve production issues, implementing process improvements to reduce lead times.
Stay informed on market trends and buyer preferences, providing insights to support new business opportunities.
