∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Technology

∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to producing detailed tech packs and following the complete development of the product from initial drawings to final sample, liaising with technical & sampling team to follow progress according to established timelines.
∎ Develop product development strategies to fulfil our core customers' needs by determining specifications, and production timetables, and developing marketing strategies.
∎ Understand the competitors and market competition and provide guidance.
∎ Incorporate new raw materials ideas, silhouettes, and finishes and liaise with the sample room and International Team and Production department.
∎ Pass on the cost components by liaising with the relevant marketing merchant to make sure the designs hit the buyer's target FOBs while also meeting the required profit margin for our company.
∎ Conduct Risk Analysis meetings and style amendment follow-up on styles presented to and picked up by the buyer at the initial edit.
∎ Review samples with technical details comparing to standard or desired wash look with concern R&D team of laundry as well as customers.
∎ Should have a strong understanding of garment washing techniques / methods, fabric properties, and chemical processes.
∎ Get involved in fabric development/sourcing and provide technical supports.
∎ Knowledge of Fabric parameters at each step of fabric - Fiber/Yarn /Greige /Dye/Print & Finish with sustainability.
∎ PPT creation for buyer development and design studio development.
∎ Assist to organize design studio or showroom according to customers' requirements and own development showcase.
∎ Stay updated on fashion latest trends, fabrics, colors, developments, emerging fashion trends and shapes to ensure designs remain fresh and relevant.
∎ Stay ahead of the curve by researching and incorporating emerging trends, ensuring our designs remain at the forefront of the industry.
∎ Prepare mood boards; develop design concepts and creating tech pack for seasonal collections that align with brand aesthetics and trends.
∎ Participate in sourcing and selecting fabrics that match design concepts and maintain quality.
∎ Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to bring design visions to life.
∎ Collaborate with merchandising, production, and marketing teams for seamless design execution.
∎ Ensure the quality and integrity of designs throughout the production process.
∎ Contribute innovative ideas to enhance design aesthetics and brand identity.
∎ Address design challenges creatively and efficiently.
∎ Maintain organized records of design processes and decisions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House, Garments Manufacturing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following areas Product Development & Fashion Design.
∎ Should have product development knowledge on fast-moving Denim (Bottom & Tops) fashionable items for the European market, with a strong technical and design background.
∎ Should have creativity and ability to think outside the box and see the big picture, while also paying attention to small details, with strong client management and team leadership skills.
∎ Should have understanding of materials, fabrics, and trims commonly used in Retail fashion.
∎ Should have knowledge of denim fabric Management, Fabric Manufacturing, testing standards and wash process.
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
∎ Fluent in English, with experience working with European customers.
∎ Highly self-motivated, self-directed, self-starter, proactive, smart, and energetic
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced in organized and efficient way to deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas along with good interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team.
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 60000 (Monthly)
