Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's in Textile Engineering from BUTEX with excellent academic results
∎ Bachelor/ Masters degree from any discipline is also preferable.
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Fabric Merchandising, Garments Merchandising, Garments Production, Garments Trims and Accessories, Shipment follow up
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
At least 5 years exprienced in same position, Garments Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations
∎ Facilitate order pursuits and prepare development samples and costing sheets
∎ Understand and follow customer procedures for order fulfilment.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking and delivery.
∎ Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in fabric, pre-production sample development, costing and production tracking, coordinating order placement process, also shipment follow up.
∎ Work with internal departments to ensure quality, production and timely delivery of goods
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Having strong communications skill in English written and oral communication
∎ Having strong interpersonal skills, the ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Having strong presentation and delivery skills to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection Additional Experience:
∎ Mentor through knowledge sharing and leading by example
∎ Operate in a fiscally responsible manner
∎ Approach work with a positive and collaborative attitude
∎ Encourage, support and promote continued learning for self
