Job Context:
∎ We are seeking highly skilled and 3-5 years proven experienced Senior Merchandiser specializing in the RMG (Woven or Outer wear) sector.
∎ As a Senior Merchandiser, Candidate must have detailed knowledge of tops weight and bottoms weight fabrics, trims and accessories. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end merchandising activities, maintain an efficient team structure, provide leadership and implement innovative, cost-effective strategies of ensuring: a) efficient material sourcing b) just-in-time material flow c) one point contact for buyers d) strategical pricing and sales e) effective communication with production. And ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
∎ The candidate must have great communication skills to professionally liaise with customers in the front-end and collaboratively work with factory teams at the back-end. Candidate must possess strong knowledge of the garment supply chain. Candidate must be able to understand current market trends and buying patterns. Candidate must have a decent understanding of the commercial protocols such as Bond, and Letter-of-Credit (LC)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Merchandising Strategy:
∎ Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends in the RMG sector.
∎ Stay abreast of fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product selection.
∎ Product Development:
∎ Work closely with design and production teams to initiate and guide the development of new woven or outer were products.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely production.
∎ Supplier Relationship Management:
∎ • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and build strong relationships to secure the best pricing and production capabilities.
∎ Conduct regular supplier assessments to ensure compliance with ethical and quality standards.
∎ Order Management:
∎ Oversee the entire order process, from order placement to shipment, ensuring on-time delivery and quality control.
∎ Monitor production schedules and address any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
∎ Costing and Pricing:
∎ Conduct cost analysis and price negotiations to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
∎ Collaborate with finance and sales teams to set pricing strategies that align with business goals.
∎ Team Leadership:
∎ Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, providing guidance and support in day-to-day activities.
∎ Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.
∎ Data Analysis and Reporting:
∎ Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports to management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
