Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking a dynamic and responsible "Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager” in Industrial Engineering Department for our Paramount Textile PLC situated at Sreepur, Gazipur which is a siter concern of paramount group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize production workflows to minimize downtime and waste, considering constraints and opportunities.

  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements in line with the textile industry`s specific needs.

  • Evaluate machine and labor capacity to maximize resource utilization.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity in woven fabric production.

  • Conduct root cause analyses for variances and implement corrective actions promptly.

  • Develop strategies to balance workloads and maintain efficient production schedules while addressing the unique challenges.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in production processes without compromising quality, considering labor and material costs.

  • Recommend machinery layouts and upgrades for optimal performance within cost-effective frameworks.

  • Maintain accurate records of efficiency metrics for management reporting, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

  • Identify and address issues impacting quality, taking preventive measures to minimize defects and meet buyer expectations.

  • Provide technical expertise to resolve operational challenges in production, addressing issues.

  • Support the implementation of new technologies and automation to improve productivity within budget constraints.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations as per Bangladeshi law.

  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on IE activities, improvements, and outcomes to the management.

  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
