Experience:
B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) or Textile Engineering from a reputed university
Proficient in Time Study, Method Study, SMV Calculation, and Operation Breakdown
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (basic)
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and IE-related software (like GSD, Pro SMV)
Excellent skills in line balancing, capacity planning, and machine layout
The candidate must have required technical and management knowledge.
Experience in handling large production floors and fast-paced styles
The candidate has to have strong leadership, decision making & problem-solving capacity.
Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the garment production cycle.
Plan and monitor daily line targets, line balancing, and machine layout for optimal efficiency.
Conduct detailed time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and help set performance benchmarks for production staff.
Introduce new methods and tools to reduce cycle time and increase output.
Analyze production capacity and implement strategies to meet the company’s short- and long-term production goals.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and manage line balancing.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, better resource utilization, and elimination of inefficiencies.
Prepare operation bulletins, machine layouts, and manpower requirements for new styles.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly IE performance reports to senior management.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cycle time, throughput, quality levels, and production efficiency.
Collaborate with QA, HR, and Compliance teams to meet buyer requirements and audit readiness (social, technical, etc.)
Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any production bottlenecks.
