∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fabric development, Research and Development
∎ Fabric knit knowledge, technical knowledge (dyeing, washing, finishing, QC)
∎ Knowledge of QC process
∎ Up to date knowledge on equipment/ Machinery.
∎ Planning and analytical skill
∎ Computer literacy
∎ Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
∎ Smart in situation handling.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill.
∎ Excellent communication skill both in English & Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Responsible for doing all kinds of fabrics analysis.
∎ • Responsible for sourcing and the approval of different types of fabrics.
∎ • Implement processes to ensure fabric quality and color consistency across different suppliers.
∎ • Communicate with all merchandisers of SETL about fabric quality.
∎ • Make decision after consultation with all SETL merchandisers about fabric issues.
∎ • Ensure quality in areas such as strength, durability, color fastness, water and chemical resistance.
∎ • Undertake quality evaluation of materials and check the quality of the final product.
∎ • Maintain color consistency of products.
∎ • Working with different fibers like- 100% cotton, 100% viscose, 100% modal, 100% polyester, 100% linen, 100% Tencel ,50 cotton 50 Modal, Lurex, Eco fresh and different fibers blending.
∎ • Working with Different buyer about all Technical issue.
∎ • Maintain computerized and necessary documented information for all transformation.
∎ • Maintain proper label confidentiality appropriate business practice in dealing with and for the company and its management.
∎ • These are the key duties and responsibilities for the post and they are subject to regular review.
∎ • Any significant changes to the rule will be subject to consultation.
∎ • Any other relates job(s) as assign by the management time to time.
