Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's from any government recognized University/ Institute, preferably in communications, journalism, humanitarian studies or development studies.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide communications support to BRAC staff who provide essential services in the Rohingya camps from health care, education and psycho social counseling, to safe latrines, shelters and community gardens.
∎ Visit camps frequently in Ukhia and Teknaf to support sector-wide (including Health, Education, Food Distribution, Communication for Development, Child Protection, etc.) coordination meetings and consultations with key partners.
∎ Ensure HCMP visibility and support high-profile events.
∎ Facilitate the field visits, and provide information support to BRAC senior management, donor agencies, and sectors of HCMP.
∎ Strengthen BRAC's reputation among external stakeholders and enhance the sense of pride among HCMP Staff.
∎ Work for increasing external visibility of our programmes and positively influence mindsets to create change.
∎ Prepare and provide weekly and monthly Summary report on HCMP Progress and Activity Status.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant field is required. Candidates having work experience in a humanitarian setting and understand the sectoral/ cluster approach will get preference.
∎ Sound knowledge on global issues related to humanitarian principles.
∎ Ability and personal resilience to work in a fast paced, dynamic and pressurized environment.
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
∎ Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work.
