Responsibilities & Context:
We are a leading software development company seeking a skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, design and execute test plans, and improve our overall testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Design and implement automated testing scripts
- Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly defined and tested
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues
- Continuously improve our testing processes and methodologies
- Track and report on quality metrics and project status
- Conduct regression testing to ensure changes do not impact existing functionality
- Work with customer support to investigate and resolve customer issues
