Job Context:

Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is going to build a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. MGI is currently seeking Site Engineers who will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities of the project. This role will be critical in maintaining rigorous standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The position will report to the Project Manager of MHRL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support in creating project plans and designs under supervision, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.

• Contribute to gathering data during site assessments and surveys, providing essential information for informed decision-making.

• Participate in preparing engineering designs and drawings, contributing to the development of detailed project documentation.

• Assist in estimating project costs and preparing budgets, ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation.

• Collaborate in coordinating activities with architects, contractors, and other professionals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Support in monitoring project progress and timelines, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.

• Participate in quality control activities to ensure construction quality, promoting adherence to design specifications and standards.

• Aid in analyzing environmental impacts and implementing mitigation measures, promoting sustainable construction practices.

• Assist in offering technical guidance and support to project teams, facilitating effective problem-solving and decision-making.

• Prepare daily progress reports, site inspection reports, quality assurance reports and safety incident reports while conducting site inspection to ensure transparency and adherence to quality and safety standards.
