• Familiar with project coordination, site supervision, and quality control.

• Knowledge of safety practices and basic construction software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Job Context

Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is going to build a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. MGI is currently seeking Site Engineers who will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities of the project. This role will be critical in maintaining rigorous standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The position will report to the Project Manager of MHRL.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning and execution by supporting the development of layouts, drawings, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with design specifications, site conditions, and client requirements.

• Conduct and support site assessments through data collection, level checks, and measurements to provide accurate input for technical decisions and design validation.

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities including structural, finishing, and service-related works, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve on-site issues, and maintain workflow continuity.

• Monitor project timelines and progress by tracking daily activities, updating schedules, and reporting deviations to ensure timely completion of milestones.

• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily progress reports, site inspection logs, safety checklists, and quality assurance records for proper recordkeeping and audit compliance.
