Job Context

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Site Engineer - Civil to oversee day-to-day operations at our construction project in Dhaka (Dakshinkhan). The ideal candidate will ensure that civil engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards and safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Full-Time On-Site Supervision: Willingness to work directly on the construction site and supervise daily civil construction work to ensure execution according to approved architectural/engineering drawings and specifications.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming raw materials (cement, steel, aggregate, bricks, etc.) and monitor concrete mixing, structural work, and finishing quality.

• Labor & Contractor Management: Assign tasks to site supervisors, contractors, and labor teams; monitor work progress and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports for upper management and report any project delays or technical roadblocks.

• Material & Inventory Management: Requisition required construction materials on time, maintain site material inventory, and minimize material wastage.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce site safety standards, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain clean, safe site working conditions.

• Measurement & Billing: Verify site measurements, prepare initial bills for contractors/subcontractors, and assist senior management in cost tracking.
