Experience: 5–8 years of relevant industry experience in power electronics, motor drive/control, and embedded systems design, with a proven track record of delivering hardware products.

Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning, and field service work as required.

Technical Requirements
AC/DC Machinery: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of AC/DC machinery, including induction motors, transformers (design and behavior from 50 Hz to 1 MHz), and the working principles of DC, stepper, and BLDC/PMSM motors.
Motor Drives & Control: Hands-on experience designing motor drive power stages (inverters, H-bridges, gate drivers) and implementing motor control algorithms-Field-Oriented Control (FOC), trapezoidal/six-step commutation, and PID-based speed, torque, and position loops-with current, position, and speed sensing (Hall sensors, encoders, resolvers, shunt/current-sense). VFD and industrial drive experience is a strong plus.
Converter Topologies: Hands-on experience with isolated (flyback, forward, push-pull) and non-isolated (buck, boost) AC-DC and DC-DC converter topologies.
PCB Layout: Proven experience in high-power density (2 kW to 8 kW), high-voltage (up to 1 kV DC), high-current (up to 100 A), and wide-frequency (50 Hz to 1 MHz) PCB design, including creepage/clearance, thermal management, high-frequency parasitic behavior, and EMI mitigation.
Analog & Simulation: Proficiency in Op-Amp-based analog circuit design, circuit simulation (LTSpice, Proteus, Altium, etc.), and MATLAB/Octave for mathematical modeling and control analysis.
Firmware Engineering: Strong proficiency in Embedded C for real-time systems, with a strict practice of developing drivers directly from component datasheets and reference manuals.
Microcontrollers: Deep hardware-level experience programming microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, AVR, Arduino) to interface with high-power stages safely.
Peripherals & Networking: Expert operational and programming knowledge of internal MCU peripherals (high-speed ADCs, advanced Timers for PWM, UART, SPI, Interrupts, DMA) and network communication topologies used in AC/DC drive systems (Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN bus/CANopen, RS-485, Profibus).
IoT & Connectivity: Experience with IoT connectivity and protocols (e.g., LoRa, cellular/GSM, Wi-Fi/BLE, MQTT) for remote monitoring, data acquisition, and control.
Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of international safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
Testing Equipment: Proficiency with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, differential probes, electronic load, and standard lab instruments.

THiNK Global Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Electronics and Embedded Systems to join its Engineering & R&D team. The selected candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of power electronic systems, motor drives, embedded control, and IoT-enabled solutions for AC/DC machinery, industrial instruments, and innovative technology products. This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy role spanning the full hardware and firmware lifecycle—from mathematical modeling, power stage and PCB design, and firmware development to system integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities
Design, simulate, and develop power electronic systems—including motor controllers/drives (BLDC, PMSM, stepper, induction) and AC-DC/DC-DC converters and power supplies, with protection and thermal management.
Develop and optimize embedded firmware in C for real-time motor control and power applications, integrating microcontrollers safely with high-power stages and communication networks.
Design and integrate IoT connectivity for remote monitoring, data acquisition, and control of power and industrial systems.
Perform circuit simulation, high-power/high-voltage PCB design, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation.
Handle broader electrical and power design tasks, including battery management/charging, power distribution, filtering, EMI/surge protection, grounding, and field wiring.
Prepare technical documentation, design records, test reports, and engineering specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout product development.
