Risk and Safety Solutions Melbourne (RSSM), a growing specialist consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking experienced Process Safety and Risk Engineering professionals to join our expanding team. These roles will support our Australian operations from Bangladesh.

You will work closely with our Melbourne team on fire safety, process safety, and risk engineering projects across renewable energy, data centres, chemical storage, manufacturing, and other high-risk industries.

Important Notes Before Applying

• Must be based in Chattogram or willing to relocate at own cost.

• All work is for Australian clients only — no projects based in Bangladesh.

• Must be able to work Australian business hours.

• Must be fluent in English (spoken, written, and technical communication).

• This is a desk-based engineering role, not a health & safety officer job

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Fire Safety Studies (FSS), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), and other risk assessments for industrial and energy projects.

• Provide specialist advice on Dangerous Goods (DG) management, Process Safety, and Risk Engineering.

• Interpret and apply Australian and international standards.

• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, technical presentations, and client engagement.

• Mentor and supervise risk engineers and consultants.

• Review and develop technical documentation, including fire safety reports, emergency response plans, and design recommendations.
